The collective labour agreements in Brisa, Pirelli and Prometeon establishments where our union Lastik-Iş is organized have been ended with deal on 28 April 2020. Collective agreements effective from 1 January 2020 will be implemented for 2 years until 31.12.2021. With collective agreements signed, significant improvements have been achieved in existing rights, all acquired rights have been preserved and new safeguards have been achieved.
The collective labour agreement covers a total of approximately 4,000 workers working in Brisa, Pirelli and Prometeon workplaces established in Kocaeli, which operates in the tire industry. 900 of these workers are called support workers and they are entitled to collective bargaining by the termination of the subcontractor system.
