We cannot celebrate May Day by singing folk songs on the streets dancing and making speeches. May Day is a very important date for the working class. Both symbol of both in obtaining the rights we have today in the world and Turkey. It is the symbol of the hundreds of years of struggle for these rights. The name of it is “International Unity Solidarity and Struggle Day of the Working Class”. It is the history of the struggle for the 8-hour working day and the workers who gave their lives for it.
Despite all the conditions we are in, we have to continue to fight together for change, hand in hand, heart to heart, and fight under the umbrella of our union. Happy May Day which is the International Unity, Solidarity and Struggle Day to the entire working class, We hope to be in the streets on the next May Day.
