On 1 March 2021, collective bargaining negotiations with KİPLAS employer’s union for Setaş Kimya San. A.Ş. which is located in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ and an affliate of our İstanbul branch, started on 11 December 2020, ends with deal to be effective between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2022.
Wages and social rights of our members and provisions regarding job security have been improved by ninth term collective agreement during harsh pandemic conditions. The assurance that no hired workers will be employed in the workplace with employment contract established by private employment agencies have also been maintained.
In addition, arrangements were made for temporary workers to benefit from the collective agreement in the workplace.
