The workers at Turan Plastik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. located in Çatalca, İstanbul, have joined our union. The rapidly growing organization in November 2020 succeeded by Turan Plastik workers’ undeterred stance in a short time. The authorization application submitted on 14 December 2020, was certified by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services on 1 February 2021 and the authorization certificate stating that Lastik-İş is the authorized union in Turan Plastik was delivered to our union on 23 February 2021.
After the certification obtained through Turan Plastik workers’ undeterred stance, union representatives were elected and a collective agreement offer was prepared with our members on 27 February 27 2021.
We expect Turan Plastik employer to recognize the workers’ unionization will, coming to the table as to collective agreement and taking steps to improve the business of peace.
