Our union held a meeting starting the preparations for a new term collective agreement for our members working at Goodyear, Pirelli, Prometeon and Brisa. In this context, our union’s general executive board members, Kocaeli and Sakarya branch executives, union representatives gathered for the general situation assessment at our union’s hotel TRYP By Wyndham in Başiskele, Kocaeli.
The wages, social aids and regulatory provisions for the collective agreement to be conducted for about six thousand workers were discussed in the meeting. Our union’s Collective Agreement and Education Department Director Üzeyir Ataman gave information about the request forms filled by the workers and collective bargaining process. The participants expressed their expectations and comments regarding the collective agreement and it was decided to present a proposal by negotiating the draft to be prepared according to the general trends arised in the meeting.
