Collective agreement negotiations started on September 5, 2019 between the Seoil Plastik workplace located in Kocaeli Arslanbey Organized Industrial Zone and our union, but no agreement was reached. Therefore, on March 2, 2020, our members started the strike with their constitutional rights. Our union and Seoil Plastik workplace management came together with common sense on March 13, 2020, after 11 days of the strike. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached between our union and the Seoil employer. Seoil Plastik workers, who resisted decisively for 11 days, achieved their goals.
