Collective bargaining negotations with GOODYEAR LASTİKLERİ T.A.Ş. ends with deal on 30 June 2020. Agreement which will be effective as of January 1, 2020 and will be applicable for 2 years until 31 December 2021.
With the collective bargaining agreements signed, significant improvements have been made in existing rights, all acquired rights have been protected and new safeguards have been achieved.
This contract covers a total of approximately 2,000 workers employed in Kocaeli and Adapazarı plants operating in tire industry. 300 of these workers are called support workers and they are entitled to collective bargaining by terminating the subcontractor system.
Social benefits have been increased by 20 percent to 56 percent in the first year of the collective agreement. Social benefits will be increased at the 12-month inflation rate in the second year of the agreement.
