Collective bargaining negotiations with KOLSAN KOCAELİ LASTİK SANAYİ A.Ş. which is an affliate of our Kocaeli branch, started on 7 August 2020, ends with deal on 12 August 2020 to be effective 01.07.2020-30.06.2023. With sixth term collective agreement, gains have been made in the wages and social benefits of our members, and our provisions on job security have been improved.
In adddition, we have gained the assurance that no hired workers will be employed in the workplace with employment contract established by private employment agencies. With the arrangement made in the collective agreement, temporary workers working on fixed-term employment contracts at the workplace are allowed to benefit from the collective agreement provided that they are union members.
